SUA1000I killing power to server

HI
We have recently installed new twin quad core server with 4 x SAS, it is connected to a SmartUPS 1000VA floor stand model, also new. Twice now the server has been found switched off, in order to turn back on, the cables have to be pulled from the back and re-inserted, the server then reboots OK with the usual server unexpected shutdown message. Closer investigation shows kernel power event id 41, this correlates directly to the powerchute log which states that there has been AC power failure, almost to the second.
I have run all tests on the SmartUPS and it passes and even shuts server down gracefully. The only thing that is different is there were 3 x 4 second power cuts in succession with the last one causing the server to go off. APC site recommends a minimum of 1Kva UPS, but Fujitsu site recommends a minimum 1.5KVa, could the issue be that the 1KVa cant handle the load, even though its only showing about 20% load on display and its going into O/L?
Thanks

do you have the full powerchute business edition log so that we can review? what is the percentage load reported on the UPS? as well as the runtime reported?

alternatively, for load percentage - how many LEDs on lit on the load bar graph (left side of UPS front display)?
