Hi All,
We will use the SUA1000I UPS to protect ATM machines when my customer are tranacting then power failure.
However, I'm wondering about a problem. Can I set-up UPS to shutdown ATM machine after the AC power is lost in 5 mins?
Thanks all,
Cheers

Du Nguyen Van,
I presume that you would like to turn off the Power to the ATM machine after the UPS has been on battery for 5 minutes. By installing the Network Management Card into the SUA1000I smart slot, you can configure an IP address for the NMC to manage and configure the UPS settings on the network.
The NMC web interface allows you to configure the UPS shutdown settings. Please see the attached screen shot above. The "Low Battery Duration" Defines how long the UPS can continue to run on battery power after a low-battery condition occurs. You may need to set the Low Battery Duration time to its highest value. I am not sure if you can set the Low Battery duration in order for the UPS to shutdown exactly after it has been on battery for 5 mins as it depends upon the runtime available on battery and the load power consumption. For example, if the UPS runtime is 28 mins, you can set the Low Battery Duration to 23 mins so that the UPS will be shutdown after it has been on battery mode for 5 minutes. I hope that my suggestions helps you to make the right decision.
