SU22200XL with PCBE serial connection

hi all,
I've an old (but still working well and battery are in a good state) SU2200XL with serial port with DB9 connector
I am thinking about using it with a server WIN 2008R2 for managing a graceful shutdown
does anybody has done this?
I wanted to know if I can use this UPS for the purpose or if I should buy a new one

You can install Powerchute Business Edition via APC's serial cable(you MUST use our cable as it's proprietary, a standard serial cable will not work). This software will allow you to shutdown gracefully one server using that serial cable.

that's a good news. Despite being old, SU2200XL is still a good device
my concern was due to the fact that on APC web site, on SU220XL webpage only PCNE was shown and not PCBE

powerchute plus is older and we don't provide much support for any issues with it since powerchute business edition is our current software that we develop on and provide new features on.

powerchute business edition is recommended for the latest and greatest but powerchute plus is good for older operating systems if you want to use it for some reason.
