Hi Tom
There is a new software that replaces the Flash version.
You can download it here https://www.apc.com/shop/ie/en/products/APC-EASY-UPS-ONLINE-SOFTWARE/P-SFAPV9601
Regards
Matt

This tread is showing as solved but it seems not.
Although the installation screens of Powerchute Business (APC's main UPS monitoring and management app) say you can connect SRV series (Easy UPS) products, the software can not detect the Easy UPS series. So we are alone with this "APC Easy UPS On-Line UPS Monitoring Software (Windows only)" app and have no other choice.
As of now, the latest version of the app is v2.4-GA-01-21132
Although, the release notes, which can be downloaded here, points out that
HTML5-Based Software
The APC Easy UPS Online Monitoring Software is now available in HTML5. Previous versions were Adobe Flash
Player-based, which is no longer supported by Adobe.
as a new feature that is brought with this release, it still says it needs flash during the initial run. Because flash is discontinued by Adobe and presumably nobody has flash installed on their computer, you only see an error page when you are trying to use the application with a contemporary web browser.
On the other hand, I passed through this very easily.
I clicked the desktop icon of APCUPS app > it opened MS Edge (my default browser) > it gave me the error about not having flash installed > I clicked "Settings and more ..." > Reload on Internet Explorer mode
and it worked. It shows the proper view of the app. Then I disable "Reload on Internet Explorer mode" and it continues to work normally on the Edge and other browsers. Does not make sense, but it works anyway.
I think it is a bug in the latest version of the app but luckily it can be overcome easily using this trick.
Hope this helps people that face the "flash" problem when trying to run APC ups monitoring software.
