Hi Folks,
I have a new-to-me SMX3000RM2ULVUNC about which I have a question. Several of my other UPS systems including an SMT2200, and SMX1000 and an SMX1500RM2U all have the capability to configure the LCD to be 1)always on, 2) dim or 3) off.
With the SMX3K, I am unable to find this setting if even available. Can someone confirm that this UPS does not have the capability to turn the LCD off when not in use?
Thanks much!

Hi Mike and thanks for the response. You are correct in that the SMX3000 line of equipment does not have the function to allow for setting the LCD display dimming or time-out.

Hi Joe,
I do not have the SMX3000 in our lab so i can't confirm 100% one way or the other for you. What I can confirm is that if the SMX3000 had this setting it would be in the configuration menu and then display. We have a smx1500 in our lab and as you mention it does have this settings. I'm not sure why the smx3000 wouldn't as they are very similar builds but I pulled up the manual for the smx3000 and I do not see display as a configurable option according to the manual (page 8 http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/EALN-7T5L2F/EALN-7T5L2F_R6_EN.pdf?sdirect=true). Let me know what you find.
-Mike
