SMT750IC vs SMV750CAI
Hello
Regarding those two items
SMT750IC vs SMV750CAI
I don’t need notification for events but I cannot decide between those two models .
The only notable difference that I found is that the SMV has lower surge protection 190J , and the SMT has higher surge protection 540J, and connectivity differences between them.
How much matters the surge protection value ?
I want to protect a sound system and a smart tv , I understand that , for avoiding disturbing noise in audio systems it’s necessary to have a sine wave electric power.
Also in another place , I want to protect an ornamental fireplace that requires sine wave electric power .

Hello,
Both units are working in line interactive topology and provide pure sine wave but on only battery mode as in this topology the inverter is in standby, in normal mode the UPS worked a AVR that regulates input voltage and provide boost/trim voltage compensation to the output, so it delivers variable voltage at this mode but it is regulated ,only the précised voltage applied to the load during inverter operation on battery mode
if the load is not sensitive so these units are ideal ,we recommends to buy SMT750IC as it had smart connect feature and you can insert AP9640 as an optional smart slot to get the benefits of our NMC 3 platform
SMV750CAI card APV9602 is discontinued and it recommended to consider SMT model instead as shown below
