Hello,
I have a UPS which is nearly 1 year old, and 1 month ago it started having issue when the self test runs or when I pull the plug.
The UPS will vibrate with loud noise for around 5 secs before cutting the output. It will log that the output has a short and the battery will drop to 60+ %.
When I reduce the load (by not turning on some equip) it does not have this issue.
I have a video, but unable to upload it here.
I have replaced the unit with RMA and the problem is still there.
Is it due to over load of the UPS capacity?
Thanks

Based on what you stated up above one of the connected loads is shorted. Start off by removing all connected equipment. Plug in one load at a time until the system faults.
You may upload the video to YouTube and then provide the link here for review. 👍

I have actually asked the electrician to check and there is no short. This only happens when there is a self test or when I pull the plug to the UPS. I will check how to upload to youtube as I do not have youtube account
