Good morning everyone,
We have a SmartUPS SMT1000RM that was recently connected to our existing EcoStruxure system. However, we learned that we can't update the firmware (which is a security requirement for us), so we began the process of (1) removing it from EcoStruxure and then (2) factory resetting the unit so we can access the GUI interface again - all our units lose GUI access as soon as they're joined to EcoStruxure, and this particular unit doesn't provide a remote way of updating the Firmware through EcoStruxure. So of course, in this process, the GUI isn't coming back. We have already followed the "reset in menu", disconnect power, disconnect battery procedure. Still not responding to GUI. We can ping the unit, but that's it. Any ideas what we're doing wrong?

Have you validated what the network attributes are on the NMC via the UPS LCD?!?
Im going to just assume at some point the units were assigned a fixed IP Address. If you formatted the NMC it will revert back to DHCP / HTTP.
Depending upon what firmware is on the NMC HTTPS is disabled by default. Review what the network attributes are in EcoStructure vs on the UPS. 👍
