Factory Reset a SMT1000RM unit after it was joined to EcoStruxure
Good morning everyone,
We have a SmartUPS SMT1000RM that was recently connected to our existing EcoStruxure system. However, we learned that we can't update the firmware (which is a security requirement for us), so we began the process of (1) removing it from EcoStruxure and then (2) factory resetting the unit so we can access the GUI interface again - all our units lose GUI access as soon as they're joined to EcoStruxure, and this particular unit doesn't provide a remote way of updating the Firmware through EcoStruxure. So of course, in this process, the GUI isn't coming back. We have already followed the "reset in menu", disconnect power, disconnect battery procedure. Still not responding to GUI. We can ping the unit, but that's it. Any ideas what we're doing wrong?
