SMT1500 MODBUS over USB?

I have the latest firmware, i still can't do MODBUS comms over USB with APCUPSD.

Does the SMT1500 support MODBUS?

Can you verify the exact version of firmware? It needs to be UPS 09.1 or higher I believe. And you need to enable modbus via the UPS display.

As I understand there are two hardware type of this model ID=17 and ID=18.

ID=17 latest firmware is release 7.1. This firmware does NOT support MODBUS

ID=18 latest firmware is release 9.3. This firmware does support MODBUS
