Hi
I have been looking at the specs on the (SMC1500I) trying to find some information on how much of a voltage range the (SMC1500I) can handle before suffering any component damage, but couldn't find any, what i am exactly looking for is "what is the maximum voltage level the (SMC1500I) can tolerate without being damaged ?. I am using a few of these (SMC1500I) to protect some test equipment from our mains supply which is horrible when it comes to the voltage level stability, we usually suffer from under voltage issues which the units are handling very well but i want to make sure of the maximum voltage it can handle "to what extent" ???.
Thanks in Advance

I am curious to know if the SMC1500I can handle around 400VAC for a few seconds in cases like open neutral faults in three phase power systems ?

The unit can operate at up to 300VAC before it switches to battery (taken from "input voltage adjustable range for mains" in the specs). Much beyond that, the UPS also has built-in surge suppression to protect attached equipment. If you experience frequent or large enough surges, the UPS may eventually sacrifice itself and need to be replaced.
