After Installation Windows Server 2012 R2 (before Server 2008 R2) and Installation of APC-Agents in the APC-Event-Log there are every view minutes entries like this:
12.06.14 11:48:43 Power Restored
12.06.14 11:48:42 Battery Reconnected
12.06.14 11:48:39 Battery Disconnected
What does it mean and what can i do to stop this?
Thanks Best regards Thomas

I confirm that seems a driver problem, with APCUPSD I haven't any battery disconnected warning in two days.
With latest APC PowerChute Business Edition (SFPCBE92) I receive that message at least 2 times evey day.
Is there a new driver or a new APC software?
If it can helps, here are some configuration information:
APC SUA1500RMI2U
Firmware Revision 617.3.I
Manufacture Date 19 dicembre 2005
USB Firmware Revision 1.5
Product Version 9.0.3.604
USB Driver Version 1.2.0.0 of 03/11/2009
Windows Server 2012R2 Datacenter Italian
Thanks

Hi,
I have the same problem with a Smart-UPS 1500VA RackMount after upgrading server from Windows 2008R2 to Windows 2012R2.
It's only a fake alarm or I need to change the UPS? Any idea on how to solve the problem?
Thanks!

Hi,
Is there an NMC installed in the Smart-UPS? If there is does it record the battery issues?
The PowerChute Agent should only report what the Smart-UPS is sending it. Something you can try is uninstall the PowerChute Agent and install APCUPSD. It would be interesting to see if APCUPSD reports the same battery issues. If it does not that indicates there is an issue with the USB driver since apcupsd uses a different driver than the Agent.
