SC420I Works on the battery for 10 minutes

The APC SC420I runs on battery power for 10 minutes. But the APC BC650 runs on the same battery for 40 minutes. The load is exactly the same.

Could you help me with this issue?

I used the same battery source - insert it in BC650. The load is standart PC with LCD monitor (it works on the battery for at least 40 minutes). I wonder, if it malfunction of SC420I or specificity of it work.

Hi Ars,

Some runtime difference is expected between the SC420I and the BC650-RS due to efficiency and internal power consumption. For example with 150W load connected the SC420I will have around 10 minutes of runtime while the BC650-RS will have around 17 minutes. If runtime differences are greater it is possible that the battery in your SC420I is order than the battery in the BC650.
