Replacement RBC44 into SURT10000RMXLI

I have been replacing RBC44 into SURT10000RMXLI, but only for 1 unit, and without calibration and add/check via hyperterminal, after 36 hour UPS was down, there is no blackout blackout or electrical issue. Can anybody explain what happened with my UPS? thanks.
