RM 6000 faults
Good day.
We have a Symmetra RM 6000:
------- Detailed Status of Symmetra RM 6000 named VICTAXI ---------------------
Maximum Line Voltages : 204.4 VAC
Minimum Line Voltages : 204.4 VAC
Internal Temperature : 034.1 deg C
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
kVA Capacity : 06.0 kVA Runtime Remaining : 0022 min
Alarm if Over : 00.0 kVA Alarm if Runtime Under : Never
Redundancy : n+1 Batt Bus Voltage : 145.5 VDC
Alarm if Under : n+0
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Firmware Rev : 213.137.W Manufacture Date : 11/04/04
Serial Number : ED0445002071
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Self-Test : Failed(03/10/2020) Calibration : Not available(Unknown)
A battery charger fault exists.
A power module fault exists.
Failed a self-test.
------------------------------------
This unit also had a failed battery module until we crowbarred the module out of the frame. The batteries look like a rolling hillside.
I'm wondering about the battery bus voltage. Is it a bit high?
And the battery charger fault. I read one post that indicated that this was not repairable/ Is this correct?
Thanks.

The battery voltage should be around 138. 145 is high and is most likely due to the over-temp batteries. I would remove all of those hot batteries in question as well as the power module. The failed power module will need to be replaced due to the charging circuitry no longer working.
