Hello.
Could anyone explain me why there is only Agent app in Powerchute Business Edition 8.0.0?
I`ve got Powerchute Business Edition 7.0.4 from CD that was inside my UPS box,
and there is everything there - Agent/Server/Console.
Regards,
Pawel Pawlak

Hello:
You are correct, PCBE 8.0 only has the agent as a free download, for use with a single node system. The 5 node and 25 node console and server modules are now paid applications.
Thanks.

Hello All,
I'm following this thread as it seems most closely aligned to my problem:
I'm attempting to install PCBE Agent 8.0 (Download Number SFPCBE800). So far, I can get as far as the installation of the 'Windows Agent'. Then it declares: 'Failed to Start APC PBE Agent service.
I can now access my UPS data online (unit is an older SU 1000, still going strong, thank-you), but nowwhere are the familiar installation of the Agent/Server/Console. Does this application allow for just 'Plain-Jane' monitoring of my UPS at the host system level as did previous editions?? Is 8.0 an online activity only??
Have I provided enough data??
Thanks and warmest regards,
Gar
