i can not configure a valid smpt-server for email-messages.

The webinterface of an smart-ups1500-agent does not accept a fqdn-servername.

how can i configure a external emailhoster for sending emails?

unfortunatedly i can't readout the label of the unit (other location).

But i get the following information from webinterface:

UPS Model Smart-UPS 1500

UPS SKU SMT1500RMI2U

Firmware Revision UPS 08.3 / MCU 14.0 (18 - 10)

Serial Number AS1319115502

Hi,

You can enter the smtp setting through the PowerChute Agent web interface.

Go to the PowerChute tab and select E-mail Settings as shown in screenshot below.

the smpt-servername "smpt.1und1.de" is not accepted, but the corresponding ip-address does.

so i keep this workaround.

maybe the smptservername-checkingfunktion is confused by the domain "1und1"
