PowerChute Network Shutdown for windows 10

Just wondering what I can use on windows 10 to initiate a shutdown?

The network cards in for the 2 servers but I tried to install it on windows 10 and found the java exe running at 100% cpu with no fix listed as it doesn't seem to be a supported operating system.

I installed PCNS 4.1 on 2 Windows 10 64 bit systems. 1 system I used the private Java and the other I used the system (jre 1.8.0-74). I left both system running with PCNS over the weekend and neither experienced an issue with a Java leak.

Schneider Electric does not officially support PCNS 4.1 on Windows 10 but from my tests it does run properly. If you continue to experience an issue with Java you have the option of running APCUPSD and configure as PCNET to communicate with the NMC. The APCUPSD User's Guide explains how to set it up.

You are correct PCNS 4.1 has not been tested and approved on Windows 10 however in my experience it does run properly. When you are installing are you selecting to install unsing the public or private Java? Also, if the public Java is being used what version is installed on the system and is the system 32 or 64 bit?

Hi Bill, it is using it's own private install as the java executable that was taking all the CPU was in the APC software folder.
