I seem to have screwed up installing PowerChute on a Server 2003, the Configure Events page is missing all events. OK, I did install V2.2.3 Build 12, then discovered another version already installed. I uninstalled both versions, then reinstalled 2.2.3. Found the events missing. Uninstalled and reinstalled again. Still missing.
I am hoping some resident expert can offer a bit of advice on how to correct the problem.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi,
What is the full version of Server 2003? That will determine which version of PowerChute will be compatible.

Hi,
I assume the network card is AP9630, AP9631, or AP9635. PCNS 2.2.3 is not compatible with those cards. If you need to run PCNS 2.2.3 you will need a UPS that supports AP9617, AP9618, or AP9619.

Bill,
Thanks for the response. I thought I had configured a PowerChute client on a AP9631. Checking, I found I had configured a PowerChute (V2.2.3 Build 12) client on a AP9631 (V6.5.0), however the UPS was a SUA1000XL. The problem I mentioned above is with a PowerChute V2.2.3 Build 12, AP9631 with V6.5.0, however the UPS is a SMX1500RM2U--which doesn't support AP9617, 18 or 19. When I read your response, I first thought it was the AP9631 that was causing the problem.
Is there a version of PowerChute which will work on Server 2003 and communicate with a SMX1500RM2U/AP9631?
Thanks,
Jeff
