Hi there,
I have installed the PowerChute Client on our ESX Servers. What does the event "Battery Discharged" mean? Is this event triggered when the Battery is near dischargement or if it is completely discharged. I have configured a shutdown delay of 15 Mins on the USV. So I like to shut down the server as soon as 15 Mins of Battery power is remaining. So is the mentiond event the right one for me or do I not need to configure any event at all?
I am a little bit confused....
best...Andy

Batteries discharge means that your runtime is within a 2 minutes of your low battery signal time. It looks like you set your low battery signal time to 15 minutes, so your runtime reading would need to be around 17 minutes for this alert to start to occur.
By default after installing the pcns client, your systems will shut down at whatever you make your low battery signal time. You don't need to do any more advanced configuration than that. The 15 minutes is fine if that's what you want.
