I have version 9.0.1.606 of Powerchute Business Edition installed on a Windows 2012 server with a APC Smart-UPS RT 1000 XL attached via serial cable. I'm accessing the UPS settings via the web interface. For some odd reason most of the settings I can change won't save after I click apply. The UPS is useless unless I can get it to correctly shut down the server. Where can I look for the problem?

What is the exact version of Windows 2012 do you have? Does it return with any error message? Is there another PC that you have tried installing PCBE? Do you have Java installed on your machine? I've had that issue before and after updating with the correct Java version and platform it started working.
