Hi All,
I have 2 APC Smart-UPS 3000VA RM with AP9630 management cards. I can't get either card to upgrade using the Windows tools, FTP or SCP. Each attempt fails. Here is their current >about

I'm trying to install 5.1.7 from the APC web site, apc_hw05_aos517_sumx517_bootmon102.exe but it just won't work.
The Windows tools gives me this...

Anyone got any ideas?

Unless you absolutely need this tonight for some reason, I'd suggest waiting for one of the APC folks here to answer.
On the AP9617/8/9 you can do manual FTP's to the unit and "put" the new AOS file to it. It should reboot and then you FTP to it and "put" the APP file to it. The only reasons I'm urging caution are: A) you can "brick" the unit doing this if you don't get everything exactly right (like sending the wrong file for the hardware) and B) I haven't tried it on an AP9630/9631 and thus don't know if you're supposed to also send the bootmon file (or in what sequence).
Again, I'd urge you to wait for an APC reply unless you have to get it done tonight and understand the risks I've outlined above.
