So I had v9.5 and upgraded to v10 of powerchute business, it was running fine for awhile but I recently noticed that the APC service wasn't running and if I tried to start it I got this error "windows could not start the service on local computer error 1067 the process terminated unexpectedly" after a few hours of reinstalling, searching and trying different things I finally narrowed down my problem to be the m11.cfg after reverting to the backup file it's working again, I don't remember changing anything in the past couple weeks so I'm not sure what could've caused this.
Now that it's working again, can someone tell me how to restore my settings/logs? Everything has been reset although added the logs and everything back.

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. The settings are stored in the M11 file so if it was corrupted the data is missing. The DataLog can be read with a test editor. Unfortunately the EventLog cannot be read with a text editor so that information is missing also.

That's fine, I was able to restore almost everything because I have system restore setup to save files too, so I just went to a previous version and picked the files from about two weeks ago and everything appears to be there (aside from missing a couple weeks of logs of course) and because of it I can also tell that whatever happened was sometime between the 6th (latest working) and 9th (latest fail).
