startservicecontroldispatch failed and Can not read M11.cfg file

Hi,

I have the following issue with the SMC1000I - APC Smart-UPS C 1000VA LCD 230V.

Since January, I discovered that while entering https://localhost:6547/status I noticed in the logs that from time to time UPS got disconnected from the workstation for 4 or 5 hours even ig the USB cable is in place.

Yesterday I entered the same address yesterday and I saw This site can’t be reached localhost refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

I did I think a stupid act to install above the old version the new V10 of PowerChute Business Edition. Without success, I cannot access the web interface of the agent.

BTW, i can see the UPS in "Devices" and attached are two screenshots: startservicecontroldispatch failed and Can not read M11.cfg file (Thousands of similar lines in the log file)

Is there something I can do in order to make everything work perfectly?

Hi Bill, Thank you very much!

It worked! Unfortunately I had to see the agent page via Internet Explorer as it doesn't work thorough Google Chrome.

One last question, is there a possibility to make the new installation see the old EnergyLog files (I saved them from previous install folder)

Hi,

Which version of PowerChute is now installed? My recommendation is to uninstall PowerChute, shutdown the computer, brain dead the UPS (see Schneider Electric FAQ FA156611) restart the computer, reinstall PowerChute. 

BTW: there is an issue with Firefox and Chrome when running PCBE 10. See Schneider Electric FAQ FA637541
