Portable Generator

hi,

I have a SU3000RMXL3U UPS and would like to plug it into a portable gas generator in case of extended blackouts.

Problem is the UPS has a L5-30P plug but the generator has a L14-30R receptacle.

Does anyone know if there is an adapter I can purchase?

Does anyone have any experience using a portable generator with a UPS?

How big is the generator? Generators should be 1.5x the size of the load that will be pulled by the UPS.
