Hello,
I'm new here and my name is Bryan.
I realize this is a APC forum, but I thought maybe there are some nice people who can give me a hand. I have several Tripp Lite SU 1000RT UPS units. 2 of which don't work. The first one's issue is when you plug it in the wall outlet, the fan moves left and right like it has power for a moment. And it randomly turns on. When it does, and if you have something plugged into it and unplug the power cord, it don't swap over to battery. The 2nd one doesn't do anything at all when you plug it into the wall. I have both apart, and I tested for continuity on all the fuses and they checked out fine. There are no obvious signs of burnt sockets. Since I do not have the blue prints of the circuits. I don't know where to go and thought this might be a common problem/fix. And yes, all 3 batteries are in good health. I know that because my 3rd unit which works fine can run for hours on this same battery pack.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Bryan
