Our client has a SUA3000I
SN: JS0724024241
Their UPS for some reason drops below 20% battery capacity and there is no indication what has caused this. The input and output voltages seem to be normal. I have gone to site to see if I could find anything wrong with the unit as we replaced the batteries in this unit Jan 2012. I performed a self test and a mains fail test via the serial and both tests show normal operation on both the UPS and batteries side. You can see from the event log I carried out my testing on the 23/10/12. The data log is unfortunatly not long enough to go back on but the batteries seemed to be holding their charge well enough when running on battery. I was just wondering if any1 else has experienced something similar and if there is a fix for this, other then replacing the whole unit.

Sounds like their may be an internal issue with the UPS(such as the charger?) or the batteries themselves. Were they replaced with APC batteries or a 3rd party?
