PCBE for Vista Home

Hi Guys

PCBE 7.0.5 is vista compatibility? Im using Vista Home edition, i try to install to may laptop the PCBE 705 the Agent, Server and console. Everything doing good. But when i connect to my SUA1500 UPS its show up " There are no APC PCBE Agent Managed by this server. Would you like to add some how." then i add but it say " Failed to apply the configuration"

PowerChute Personal Edition is designed for home versions of Vista, whereas Business Edition is designed for business versions of Vista. The logic is that most home users will have a home/office UPS requiring the home (personal) version of the software; likewise for business models & software versions.

You could always try PCBE on Vista Home and see if it works, though keep in mind it wasn't created with Home in mind. What model UPS do you have?

Thanks for the clarification. Back-UPS Pro 650 with a dead battery, and have not had a communication link between it and my Vista Home Premium system. I am considering whether to replace the battery as usual and not bother about the communication link, or get a newer model of UPS that can communicate with my computer.

APC PCBE version 7.0.5 does not support Windows Vista OS. Click here to download the latest PCBE software that supports Windows Vista OS.
