Output L5-20 Possible
I would like to order a SURTA2200RMXL2U for a particular application.
It only has NEMA 5-20 connectors on the output.
I would like to have an L5-20 connector on the output.
Are optional output plates offered for the back of the UPS?

If cable compatibility is your only concern, 5-20 to L5-20 adapters and custom-made cords are available from a company I found called "StayOnline dot com".
If you want the security of twist-lock, I recognize that this is not an ideal solution, but may be your only solution if you want to connect twist-lock devices to this UPS.
5-20 to L5-20 adapter, detail page:
http://www.stayonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=8573
5-20 to L5-20 pigtail / 1 ft cord, detail page:
http://www.stayonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=5761
Also you can request custom length cables.
http://www.stayonline.com/custom_power_cords.aspx
- On the left choose NEMA 5-20 .... or 90-degree plug style NEMA 5-20
- On the right choose NEMA L5-20
- Below, choose your cord type, 12 AWG / 25 amp or 10 AWG / 30 amp
- Next choose a cord length. If the cord is too long for the 12 AWG it will tell you to upgrade to the heavier cord
Note you can make oddball adapter cords for special purposes, or if you don't know what you are doing, such as 5-15 to L5-20, but it will tell you if it is a proper "UL Listed" cord design or not.

i dont think so unfortunately. i searched in all the spots I knew and only found a hardwire kit for the SURTA3000 unit and all of the other backplates were for the 208v SURT units.
