I have two servers running Novell 5.0 and two servers running Windows 2000 Server. Can I monitor all four with the same software? If so what agents needs to be installed on the Windows Servers and what goes on the Novell Servers? The APC units are SUA 750 and SU1000XL units.

Well apparently this has been made a little more complicated by the fact I didn't register "5.0" in your original post at all. Don't know how I missed that version, my apologies for the inconvenience.
Unfortunately none of our current releases (8.0 basic or 8.0 deluxe), and not even our previous release for non-windows systems (7.0.5 Basic/Deluxe) support Netware 5.0. Going back even further, to products that are totally discontinued, our 7.0.4 version doesn't even support Netware 5.0. I can't recommend using any previous versions of the software.
Our current PCNS software offering also does not support Netware 5.0, so I don't see any way that the actual servers can be monitored for shutdown at this point. Their UPS' can still be monitored with a Network Management card, but that's the best solution at this point.
The windows 2000 servers will be fully supported by PCBE 8 however.

One option you could look into would be using APC Network Management Cards and PowerChute Network Shutdown to provide monitoring and shutdown options for both of the UPS' and all of your servers. PCNS is a free download from our website and would require an agent to be installed on each of your computers, and can be installed on both Windows and Novell platforms. With this option there would be no "central" management of each of the servers, but you could easily log into each server or NMC and view logs, control shutdown, etc.
Frankly I feel that this solution would be more flexible and more convenient than a cable-heavy PowerChute Business Edition solution, which would involve a serial cable for every computer involved and only has limited network functionality.

Maybe I wasn't clear on the explanation of the situation. Each server has its own APC unit attached to it and I am looking for a way to monitor all from my workstation or when at home across our VPN.

Alright...
You can purchase our PowerChute Business Edition Deluxe software and install an agent on each of your computers, and then centrally monitor them from one computer via the PowerChute Business Edition console. So in the office you could just pull up one interface to look at all the servers and their corresponding UPS', or VPN into the network, access that single "server" and look at the interface in the same way.
This will require:
PowerChute Business Edition Deluxe (8.0 is the most current release)
Smart-Signaling Serial cables for each UPS/Server (940-0024 is the part#)
