No Data Logged

Hi, I realise this has been asked before, but there seems to be no solution.

I've just installed the latest version of Powerchute and all is working great except for Data Logging.

Data logging is switched on, columns are selected and the log shows 'No Data Logged' after one week.

I tried diddling with the log frequency, but nothing seems to make a difference. The agent is running on Server 2008 x64.

Any suggestions ?

can you tell us what UPS you're using please? the exact model off the back or bottom of the UPS would be helpful. With PowerChute - I assume you are referring to PowerChute Business Edition? can you just verify the version number - you mentioned the "latest."

Are you using USB or serial communications? Can you try and restart the PCBE Agent Service from Administrative Tools->Services? Also, what hardware model is that computer (i.e. HP, IBM, etc)? Did you recently update anything (like Java)?

Lastly, I know someone will need to know - can you give us the specific model of the UPS? Something like SUA3000XL or SMX3000 (off the back of the UPS on the white sticker) if possible? This will determine the UPS type that may have to do with the problem.

FYI - Bill P. - any other ideas for us here that we could check?

Hi,

Please uninstall PCBE 9.0.1, download PCBE 9.1, and install 9.1. We made changes between 9.0.1 and 9.1 that should resolve the issue.
