New SMT3000 Battery Problems?

Hi, I have a two to three week old SMT3000 manufactured in July 2012 that I think may have battery problems. I initiated a run-time calibration test for the first time today and the battery remaining percentage dropped to 66% within two to three seconds of initiating the test. I don't think this is correct and can anyone else tell me what I can do to confirm that the RBC55 that is installed is good or not? The load percentage at the time was right around 20% when the test was initiated. Thanks in advance!

Well we don't recommend doing runtime cals unless there is a specific reason such as low runtime etc. We also recommend have at least a 30 % load when doing a calibration. What is your current load and runtime via the display? Also, is the battery capacity at 100 %?

Hi and thanks. The load I currently have is about 20% and the runtime was about 25 minutes at that load before the runtime calibration routine self-termindated.
