Installing the new PowerChute Personal Edition 3.1.0 on a Windows 7 computer that previously had 3.0.2 successfully uninstalled the old version and installed the new one without requiring a restart. That was good. So was the display of the technical information
However, a fresh install on a Windows 10 computer produces garbage characters after the firmware revision:
It seems the developers should take another look at the code and explain how this passed through QA...
