New NIC not workin

Plugged a new AP9630 NIC card into a SMT2200RMUS and the card does not work. Plug the card into an SMT1500 and it works just fine.

Is the slot fired? Do I need to reboot the UPS?

It is an older unit.

Hi John,

Smart slot cards should be hot-swapable but a reboot couldn't hurt...

Do any lights come on on he NMC when connected to the SMT2200RMUS, is it possible it was no making full contact?

Also I'd recommend updating the firmware on the UPS.
