Both Smartcells do -not- have the Replace Batt Indicator lit, but the LCD panel says there are 2 bad battery packs. It also shows 55 min. of Runtime at 13% load.
The Smartcells were replaced appx. 3-4 years ago with units from upsprotection.com.
I guess my question is do I really need new Smartcells?
Thanks,
--Michael

They are regular smartcells.
It's interesting that Dan from upsprotection.com replied to my E-mail with, "we really don't sell the cells anymore (too
hard to get the red light to reset.)
I'll have to go back and step through the info. again. I'll be down there tomorrow or Saturday.
Thanks,

Are these regular Smartcells or Smartcell-XRs? If they are regular Smartcells there is no real way to troubleshoot them, but 3-4 years is within the failure range for those batteries. What is the other battery information shown in the UPS Info/Diagnostics pages?
