Mass Edit Notification Settings On Network Management Card 3
Hey all.
I received an answer to this question in a support chat, but given the amount of hours of work I might have to endure if it's true, I wanted a second opinion.
We have a client with a new Smart-UPS 6000 with the Network Management Card 3. Both the UPS and the card are on the latest firmware. This UPS is in a special research lab and needs a number of email recipients for various event alerts, particularly related to temperature and power status.
The default repeat rules for alerts and notifications are way too spammy (resends every two minutes while a condition exists) and I want to alter that. However, the support rep told me it's not possible to do this on a mass scale and that I'll have to adjust the email limits for each alert AND for each recipient. That will literally take hours.
I can't believe that this is the only way to do it. If it is, I mean OK, but it can't possibly be. Can anyone confirm for me if this is the case or if there is a way to mass-edit, what I need to do? Thanks!
