Hi,
We have an old MX3000 in storage that we were trying to bring back to life. It was working perfectly a few years ago. We borrowed one of the SmartCells from our working MX5000 to get it to power up. However, there's a password on the unit and we can't figure out how to flash it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i am assuming you are referring to the password on the front LCD of the UPS, not the network management card accessory.
if so:

Yes I am referring to the password on the LCD Display, the top of the Matrix. Thanks for the suggestion, I will give it a try and follow up!

Tried the process to no avail. No matter how many times we reset in by pass, the password on the LCD screen is still there. Any other suggestions?
