Hello,
I would like to monitor my UPS devices using SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor. When I browse the OID on the Solarwinds NPM application and attempt to test SNMP traffic with the UPS (such as batterylevel) I get a message saying OID is not supported.
I spoke with Solarwinds Support and they advise that I need to get a list of OIDs for the AP9619 and then create my own pollers. Where can I obtain this information?
Thank you,
D

hi derek,
are you already using the APC PowerNet MIB? the APC MIB has support for all devices built into it.
the latest version is located here: ftp://ftp.apc.com/apc/public/software/pnetmib/mib/393/powernet393.mib
let us know if you already have that though and are looking for something else

well that should be something Solar Winds can help with. I am not familar with that NMS.
From what I do know, on the MIB browsers that I have used, you basically just load it into a certain folder or location and then the NMS finds it there and you can use it to poll/walk your devices. i assume it works similarly to that with Solar Winds.
Is that NMS command line or does it use a GUI? I have no idea.

Thanks for sharing that link, Bill. But it returns an empty page!
Might the version have changed from 4.3.1?
TIA,
Eric P.

Hi Eric,
The current version is https://www.apc.com/shop/us/en/products/PowerNet-MIB-v4-3-7/P-SFPMIB437
As the version bumps regularly, the easiest way to find these is to put "powernet" in the search box on apc.com
