Hello. I was wondering is it possible to download PowerNet MIBs older than 4.1.0? I ask because I was unable to load 4.1.0 in HP OpenView NNMi 9.2. I've been told by the system administrator that manages the server with HP OpenView NNMi that the MIB 4.1.0 does not contain info for building an icon in the GUI. Thanks.

I can point you to the old MIBs but I am just wondering what you mean by "building an icon in the GUI." If I can better understand what the issue is, I can see if there is any workaround or fix if there is a real problem. An older MIB might be OK for certain products but newer ones and newer firmware versions may require an up to date MIB. We typically never remove anything from the MIB, just add to it. So, again, I am very curious of you can share more information.
The MIBs are here, just go to the respective folder -> ftp://ftp.apc.com/apc/public/software/pnetmib/mib/

Hello. I'm not sure if this sheds more light, but here are the system admin's exact words,
"This mib is not the first mib to load the reason being when you load th emib it is looking at the file for the syntax that builds the icon in the gui. If it does not find it in the file it cannor do the rest of the script. I looked at the mib file [and] I did not see anywhere in this mib file that created the icon. Look for the earlier mib that has the icon build in it. Load all previous mibs in order from first to last."
I also attached the error I get when I try to upload the mib to HP NNMi. I wasn't sure if it was NNMi specific or not so I figured I'd share.

Thanks! I am still a little unclear with what "icon" were talking about but I came across this which sounded similar. Is it possible that some of the other RFC MIBs required are not yet loaded that our MIB relies on?
