MGE Galaxy 3500 20kVA - AP9631 NMC

Hi All,

I have an MGE Galaxy 3500 20kVA UPS that has an AP9631 NMC which I presume is now faulty because the NMC keeps reporting that the UPS is on battery when its actually not on battery.

We cannot Log onto the NMC as it says Invalid Username or password however the credentials are correct because we used the very same credentials when we upgraded the Firmware to v7.12 when this problem of incorrect alerts started.

The client has a spare AP9631 NMC I want to use to replace the embedded NMC as they are not prepared to buy another NMC at the moment. I am avoiding Hard Resetting the Network Card at this point incase I wont be able to reconfigure the Card as monitoring this UPS is crucial.

Please advise which Firmware needs to be loaded on the AP9631 NMC so that we can use it on this UPS?

Based on your statement above are you sure you installed the correct NMC firmware for the UPS hardware?!?

Hi @Teken ,

Yes, I am sure I installed the correct firmware. The Firmware was pushed through to the NMC via DCE.
