MGE GALAXY 5000 60KVA UPS with External Battery CB Installation error

Dear All,

I have a challenge with MGE Galaxy 5000 60KVA UPS I recently installed. when I powered the UPS and it goes through initializing process, this error code appears on the screen" External Communication error 7-5-1" and the UPS will not start.

The UPS came with External Battery Circuit Breaker Cabinet (MGE Galaxy 6000)

What could be the the possible cause?

checked u ups parallel or signal ups ? i think u have a parallel ups , u connect the xms07 parallel connector red

Hello Oppong,

I think you need to send a personalisation file by using the "software tuner". If you haven't,  try to contact one of APC authorized service partners.

I seem to have a problem of identification of the UPS because if you have a solution in parallel must have a different name, this configuration is the software makes communication.
