Lost power, power restored in a few minutes, APC starts shutdown procedure

We purchased a new APC for one of our offices. SMX2000RMLV2U model

We been having issues with the unit since we purchased it. Testing it, we pulled the power for about a minute plus,  then plugged it back in. Unit showed it had power and the load was 30% with 100% battery. A few seconds later a message comes up saying it starting the shutdown procedure and 88's sec left before shutdown. 

How do we stop this from happening when the power is restore?

Given the limited information provided here there are several things to do and check.

If the unit is connected to a computer running PCBE / PCSS / PCNS disconnect the USB / Ethernet cable. Repeat the same test and report back if the same behaviour is seen.

If the problem (countdown) is not repeated than you simply need to redefine the Power Chute software as to when to gracefully shutdown.

If the shutdown is presented on the actual LCD of the UPS. You need only redefine the shutdown / outlet timers to your desired needs.
