Is AP9630 Compatible with APC SmartConnect Portal

Hello,

I have a older UPS (SUA2200RMUS) which I'd like to monitor via https://smartconnect.apc.com.  Will the AP9630 Network Management Interface allow me to add this unit to the portal?  This is what I see on the portal:

I don't think there is a QR code on an AP9630 and I'm also not sure if Product ID and Product Key are available from an AP9630.  Unfortunately, I'm not finding information easily on the portal about which products are compatible.

If your AP9630 NMC is running the last v7.1.2 firmware release. At the NMC login page at the very bottom is a hyperlink to register to the APC EcoStructure Cloud Portal Service.

This uses the Smart Connect Portal Service to connect the NMC. There is a Basic, Standard, and Advanced Plan based on a yearly subscription.

Why anyone would pay someone else (forever) to have limited access, control, to manage the most important piece of equipment is beyond me?!? 🤢

The NMC literally offers you everything (Locally) and more with no reoccurring service fees or ties to someone’s else so called Cloud. 🤦‍♂️

If you want remote access outside the LAN. You would set up a VPN connection to access and securely connect to the same. ☝️

Cost you absolutely nothing but time and effort. 

If you compare the Smart Connect feature chart to what the NMC has already. You’ll see this cloud service offers absolutely nothing when compared to the NMC.
