Hi,
I have a EPDU1116s PDU and need to apply a network IP change - it prompts that it needs a reboot to apply some network changes i made.
As there is load on the PDU and i do not want to have a power outage of the attached devices i want to make sure the action is safe.
I think its fine to do normally unless there are errors on the console(the web console is clear of errors), but i cant see the clarification of what a reboot actually does in any documentation.
Does the reboot action from the web console apply any changes to the outlet power? (ie does it power cycle any attached devices?).
The plan is that i apply the changes and then put the device on another network without causing any hassle for myself or users.

Generally speaking, making network related configuration changes to the NMC will not impact the switched outlets.
If this was a firmware upgrade to the PDU you would definitely want to refer to the release notes.
As of this writing a reboot to the NMC will be fine. If you’re in doubt and need to be 100% sure the connected loads should be gracefully shutdown / disconnected.
During a maintenance window outside of the operational hours. 👍
