Thinking of using a specialized lift to help us deploy heavy blades and UPS's. One of my friends from another DC recommended a [server lift|http://www.serverlift.com/solutions/products/sl500x-server-lift/] sl500x. what are your thoughts on this products?

They work great. We have the previous generation of this model of ServerLift (no touchstop sensor on top - driver is responsible for sprinkler heads... 🙂 ). We use it to lift our blade chassis, big SAN switches, basically anything bigger than a 2U server.
I have two Symmetra PX80s that each have 4 battery cabinets. They are 5-6 years old so we are going through our first full battery lifecycle. We used the lift to raise and lower each shelf of batteries as we changed them out.
Our APC Service rep who was involved with the changeout said he wished he could take one around with him everywhere he goes...
