UPS shown that the battery needs to be replaced. I turned off the UPS, changed the battery and now when I start the UPS it makes a loud continuously noise and all lights are steady on. I tried to hold the power button or press it, nothing helps.
When I start it with the old battery ( or whit the new one) it starts to make the noise after 5 sec after I push the power on button.
When I connect it to an outlet without battery, it always starts by itself to make the loud noise and all the lights are on.
The only possibility to make the noise disappear is to disconnect the UPS from outlet or from battery.
I have another UPS of the same model and I have changed the battery without issues.
Can someone help me to understand what happened with this ups?

Thanks for the clarification. From your description I would say it is safe to say that the UPS has suffered a hardware failure and needs to be replaced.

Is there anything else wrong with the UPS? Are there an fault indicators after replacing the battery? Does it function normally from transferring to and from battery? My first thought is that is it just the fan. What is the serial number of your unit. A firmware update might fix the excessive running of the fan but we will be able to tell from the serial number.

Thanks for the help.
I don't know if there is an fault indicator. When I connect the UPS to the outlet ( with or without battery) all the lights are always On (not flashing), it makes a continuously loud noise and it don't provide electricity to connected devices.
The serial number is AS1246223265.
