Is it possible to fix the ribbon that pulled off my APC SUA1500 myself?

The ribbon from front bezel pulled off while replacing batteries in my APC SUA1500, is this possible to fix myself?  I don't see a plug to put it in, so I think it was soldered on. They need to make those ribbons about 2" longer.  See attached picture

This is not technically serviceable by the user so we don't have any instructions so if you want to try, or use anyone else's steps that may be provided here, please proceed at your own risk. I do also believe it is soldered on.
