Has anyone here got experience with installing Network Shutdown on OS X 10.6? The manuals all use command line and make very little mention of OS X. What little code there is provided doesn't work (cannot install util.jar) and if you are not a command line jockey is practically unintelligible to a normal person.
We have an AP9606 Web/SMNP management interface card (old I know but still serviceable) in a Smart UPS that we want to use to gracefully shutdown a server. Besides Network Shutdown, what other APC software will do what we need with this management card? It would be best if we could avoid command line installation—we're Mac users after all and don't like command line interfaces if they can be avoided!
