I have APC BACK-UPS ES 550VA and PowerChute Personal Edition 2.1.1 on Windows Vista x64.
The question is why I don't see "Load on battery backup" and "Your battery backup is currently providing n Watts of power" values in Current Status page.
Maybe these values are not available for BACK-UPS ES 550VA?
Also I don't see "Run Self-Test" menu item.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, for the late response.
I bought my UPS after I upgraded to SP1 and I don't have any communication problems.

Still a little more inquisitive...
Have you since upgraded to SP1? And if so, are you experiencing any communication problems?

The firmware/technology for the ES line does not provide information for current load on the UPS.
Also, the firmware does not support Self-Tests through the software.
Just curious, but how did you get PCPE 2.1.1 to work on an x64 machine?

Thanks for the update with SP1. As SP1, if I recall correctly, was not available for testing with our systems, I'm trying to see if we should anticipate any problems with customers who upgraded to SP1. Thankfully thus far, everything that has happened has been accounted for an negated.
Thanks again.

Well, there is nothing special.
Every 32bit software can be installed on Vista x64 without any problems. Vista x64 emulates 32bit instruction set.
