Is there a line in the INI file for enabling System Name Synchronization? I haven't seen it, but I may be overlooking it.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
System/Host name synchronization is not currently in the INI file. We have an open feature request created for the development team, but there is no ETA for if/when it would be added. I'll make sure to update it with this forum post, so we can see that customers are requesting it!

Matt.
Thanks for the response. I am in the process of configuring UPS's and NIC's for a new plant. It's a pain to be able to configure everything except one item.

Almost a year later and I don't think the feature was added.
you can turn on the synchronization through SSH.
The command to enable the synch is:
apc>dns -y enable
E000: Success
I do this on my python script to make sure all UPS are synched
